A Way to Serve Vertical Students
A few times this semester, I’ve been asked by parents, “How can we help out at Vertical Students?” One way you can do that is by providing snacks on Sunday nights!
Every Sunday night, we try to end our night with food, and for good reason! You’ve probably noticed in your own life: Food has a way of bringing people together and breaking down barriers. At Vertical Students, we are able to do this because of a few generous families who provide snacks week in and week out.
We also added Dan & Sharon Houghton to our cafè team this year! They help make sure every student is greeted and served. Rather than just putting out the snacks on the counter, they go a step beyond and intentionally greet every students, helping make Vertical Students a more welcoming environment.
Throughout the Fall semester, we had a family provide snacks every single night! We’re so thankful for that! As we look to kick off 2019 with a bang, we’re asking for your help again.
If you’ve been looking for a way to help serve at Vertical Students, one way you can do that is by agreeing to bring snacks. You can set your own frequency as well: some people provide snacks once a month and some once a semester!
If you’re interested in helping in this way, please complete this quick survey and we’ll add you to our 2019 schedule!
Thanks for partnering with us! When you provide snacks, you allow us to create a fun, intentional environment that opens students up to conversations about faith.
Let us know if you have any questions!
