Camp Theme: Word Became Flesh
"The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."
- John 1:14
God loved us so much that He became one of us.
Jesus Christ, fully God and fully human, came to earth
to save us as sinners.
He came to serve, teach, show God's character, and ultimately die on a cross and raise to new life.. He came for us. The promises that God made in the Old Testament came to life..For the first time, humans had an example of God's love, grace, and mercy.. God's goodness and power was put on display.. Our Father's wisdom changed
people's lives.. His love became a story.
What God began, the flesh finished.
We're going to unpack the trinity, particularly the person of Jesus, this year at Crossroads.
